We believe worship is essential to who we are. That’s why we cultivate a lifestyle of declaring our praises to God. When we recognize who God is (the King of glory) and what He is doing (signs, wonders and miracles), we are worshiping. Since worship comes from the heart of each individual on a daily basis, it is essential that we continually watch for how God’s hand is moving in our lives and how His heart is being expressed to us as His love is seen during our week. So that when we come together to worship corporately, we will worship from the overflow of our heart.
Jesus said in John 4 that Father God is searching for worshipers who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth. As we worship the Lord it is vital that each person engage their spirit and heart with Holy Spirit. At times this happens in the quietness of a moment, or when through our celebration we boldly come into His throne room. It is when we are personally aware of God’s presence in our worship that we experience Him with any or all of our five senses. Whether we are singing contemporary worship songs, praying with each other, sharing some of the amazing things God has done in our lives, listening to a practical message of how to know, love and experience God, or responding to how our Lord is touching our hearts, we have come to recognize that all we do when we come together to worship can please the heart of God.
We know it is important that we leave room for Holy Spirit to move as He desires. Often, He breaks through in a prophetic way. We have experienced God’s Spirit break into our worship with a prophetic song, a word directed at all those who have gathered together or even to an individual. People are healed during our times of worship. Whether that be physically, emotionally or spiritually – often through the effective prayers of faith, our Lord Jesus touches people to bring God glory. No matter what our week has been like, when we surrender our lives to Almighty God in and through worship amazing things happen.
You should come and join us as we worship the King of Kings.
