God is moving, lives are being changed and we should be both excited and telling everyone about His miraculous power. Let me give you just one example.
One of our Village Chapel family is back in town after moving to Texas. God has provided him with a job in our area. We thank God for all He has been doing in his life. Think about him as a MIRACLE! When he came to us several months ago the doctors did not give him hope of returning to work due to the effects of drug use in his life. He would often come into our sanctuary and become distracted by the swirling ceiling fans, standing and just staring at them as they circled overhead. Yet God is great. He is the restorer of hope and even a mind that could not stay focused. Our brother in the Lord Jesus is once again employed, something the doctors said would probably not happen. You see the doctors thought there had been too much damage done to his mind by the use of meth. Meth is a terrible drug that destroys people’s lives. Our brother is employed as a rocket scientist. What you say? That’s what he is and it is due to our God. He had previously been educated and employed with high tech work until the drug use ruined his ability to work. That’s a great testimony for people to hear from our lips. So share it with others.
The Western, Central and Eastern WA Apostolic and Prophetic Gatherings have all brought wonderful reports of how God moved, brought healing to lives and released great power in our State of Washington over this past weekend. We praise God for allowing us to be a part of what He is doing to capture the hearts of the people in our state. Michael Danforth from Yakima shared Saturday night that the hopelessness and fear so prevalent in our society is not from God. Think about it. God is the God of hope, not of hopelessness. He is the God of peace, for He has not given us a spirit of fear. It is time for us to stand spiritually against hopelessness and fear. It is time to be people of a good report for God is alive and actively working in our lives today. Share hope and peace with people you come in contact this week who are under the blanket of hopelessness and fear.
In just 12 days Joanne Arizaga is coming to share her “Am I Normal?” Seminar. Friday Oct 30 at 7pm, Saturday Oct 31 at 6pm, and Sunday Nov 1 at 6pm she will be sharing a gold mine of information that will help each of us understand who we are, who others are, and the why and how of working with others. It is all about who God created us to become by gifting each of us in specific ways. You can register on Sunday or online at www.wholehearteddevotion.com. The cost is $30 per person or $45 for a couple. If an entire family would like to come please talk to me about a family discount. Every adult and teenager in our Village Chapel family NEEDS to be at this seminar. If finances are a problem, you should be contacting me to let me know. We can work something out as scholarships can be made available by generous people. If you would like to give toward scholarships for others, please contact me as well.
