But stop and look at all that is happening and you’ll see some interesting events coming about.  With Iraq being freed from Saddam, it’s only a matter of time before Babylon is rebuilt and becomes the capital of Iraq.  For so many years End Times Scholars thought there were other cities being the possible symbolic Babylon mentioned in the book of Revelation, yet is it possible that God actually meant Babylon?  It seems today that is more of a possibility than ever before.  Russia is having problems, a former leader who is exiled to Great Britain, is calling for the violent overthrow of the Putin government.  That would throw Russia in to a military upheaval quite possibly changing the course of Russia again.  If you didn’t know, there is still quite a bit of persecution of the Jews in Russia.  A couple of weeks ago during the celebration of Hitler’s birthday by some in Russia, the government locked down one of the university dorms that housed “foreigners” because they were concerned they would not be able to protect them over the 3 days around Hitler’s birthday.  “What?” you ask.  All of this is true and if you search the news enough you will find it quietly at times, happening behind the scenes because the media and press do not understand End times prophesy – check out Daniel and Revelation, especially read Ezekiel 38-39.  In Israel they have already stored much of what will be needed to rebuild the temple when God destroys the Dome of the Rock, a holy place for the Islamic faith.

You can never stop watching what is happening in Jerusalem, the center of the world.  The things happening in the Middle East are not just coincidences, they are, as Hank has taught us, God-incidences.  Does that mean you should build a bunker and hunker down until something happens?  No, remember I told you, over the years people have been convinced the events of their time meant Jesus was on the verge of coming back, even as far back as the original followers of Jesus Christ.  It means that we need to be sharing our Savior with anyone who will listen.  Ezekiel promises a worldwide revival before Messiah returns.  So we are right back to where we are.  People who want to be like Jesus, who need to take the good news about Messiah, Jesus Christ out to those who are outside of the walls of the church and help them because as the Gospels say, they are harassed and helpless like sheep without a shepherd.
