March 20, 2007 - Intercessors

Listening to his cds I am well aware of the need for our intercessors to be “on the same page” especially as it relates to the authority over them. In some ways our intercessors are each doing what is right in their own eyes, while in other ways it may appear they are following the leading of Holy Spirit. Yet there is this tension in my spirit when I think, pray or share with you about intercessors. It maybe from the years of battle at VC, it may be Holy Spirit wanting to do something more with those who pray at Village Chapel. My prayer is that Holy Spirit will do great and mighty things through the ministry of Joe McIntyre. There is a mighty battle rising up against us in these past few days. It intensifies in these days as the Lord is raising up a mighty wall or wave that is descending upon us. Attacked by one side, the move of Holy Spirit coming straight at us with so much power it will surely over run and undo many who are “hanging around” us. I stand with my shield raised in the direction of the attack, and a heart that is desiring and crying out to God to come in power and fulfill His words, His promises. These words and promises are in this wall or wave rising up and moving toward us with a great force. Who will be left standing in the presence of the Lord, what will the result of His powerful move be. I know only this for sure, it must be messy, for it is not coming in an orderly manner.
