Just yesterday I was telling our church that God has made us and we are good because He says we are good. The problem a lot of times with Christians is that we are busy comparing ourselves to others and feel they are worthy for God to act in their lives and so we end up believing we don’t stack up against them. Take Oscar Wilde’s advice and just be who God made you to be. Stop comparing yourself to other people and realize that God made you exactly the way you are for a reason, it’s a good one. The reason: He knows exactly what He is doing. He formed you in your mother’s womb to be the person you are and only He can bring lasting changes in your heart to make you be who He wants you to be in every situation.

What a thought! “God knows me and wants what’s best for me.” So here’s the thing, and there’s no way to get around it, you will have to believe God and trust Him that He will make you great in His Kingdom – all you have to do is ask. Luke chapter 11 says we need to ask, seek and knock. Just keep asking, seeking and knocking and the God of the Universe who made you and loves you will allow you to find Him so He can bless you. Why would God do that? Because He loves you and when you gave your life to Jesus it was through Jesus’ death and resurrection that you were made worthy. Once again, it was nothing you did, it was everything He did. Oh yeah, and it’s everything He does for you and in you that demonstrates you are worthy.

What do you need to do? Start believing God!!!
